Hi, I’m Emme!
I’m currently a graduate student studying Counseling Psychology (MACP, 2027) as well as Theology & Culture (MATC, 2028) at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
Future therapist + practical theologian
My work focuses on the messy middles of life, including (but not limited to) mother/daughter relationships, intimate partner betrayal trauma, and the intersection of psychology and theology.
Hi, I’m Emme…
Nice to meet you! My name is pronounced “em” and I use she/her pronouns.
It's safe to say my life today looks drastically different from even two years ago. It's also safe to say that I'm wildly proud of the person I was and the person I am becoming.
The journey here wasn't linear. It was messy, sacred, and transformative. Through my own experiences navigating complex family dynamics and relational wounds, I discovered that healing happens best when we stop separating our faith from our feelings, our theology from our therapy, our minds from our bodies.
I'm pursuing my calling as a therapist and practical theologian because I believe deeply in the power of integrated healing. I specialize in the tender, complicated spaces: mother-daughter relationships that carry generations of unspoken patterns, intimate partner betrayal that shakes the foundation of who we thought we were, and the beautiful intersection where psychology meets lived theology.
My approach? Think less clinical distance, more sitting across from one another doing the hard and holy work together. I'm deeply committed to depth-oriented and somatic therapy because our memories and bodies hold what our words sometimes can't express. I believe in both evidence-based practices and the mystery of the sacred. I believe you can honor your anger and your faith. I believe healing is possible, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you discover what that looks like for your story.

NOUN
the feeling one has on realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one’s own, in which they are the central character and others, including oneself, have secondary or insignificant roles:
In a state of sonder, each of us is at once a hero, a supporting cast member, and an extra in overlapping stories.
